PMP 114: The Forgotten PokemonThen there was an unearthly roar, rocking the temple even more forcefully than the voice. A shadowy void opened up in between Dialga and Palkia. Cyrus dashed backwards in order to get out of the way. From the void emerged a giant shadowy figure with glowing red eyes. It spread two dark wings, three red spikes protruding from each. The three elves sped away, hiding behind Mitsumi as she got to her feet. Why had that voice sounded so familiar
?"Could it be
?" gasped Cynthia, "The otherworldly Pokémon
?!"Cyrus turned to look at her."You! Tell me!" he shouted, "What has happened?""When this world was made, Dialga and Palkia appeared," said Cynthia, "Apparently, there was a third Pokémon that appeared as well. One with as much power as Dialga and Palkia, but with dominion over none of nature's forces. A Pokémon that dwells in a world on the opposite side of our own."The otherworldly Pokémon pulled itself from the void, its form taking shape. The shado
PMP 113: It's not too late!"I've waited so long for this moment, Dialga and Palkia," Cyrus continued, "Now hear me. Shaping this world is a double-spiral of Time and Space. Yes, the very things that you have the ability to control! Lend me your power, the power of gods! With the power I wield, I will create an entirely new world! Then I will dispose of the incomplete and ugly world we have now; it will disappear forever!"A dark power began emanating from the shackled Dialga and Palkia."To those who bear witness to my feat!" Cyrus cried, "Look, for this sight will be your last! I am resetting everything to zero; nothing can remain!""Wait!" cried Mars, "What about us? Your loyal administrators--?"For the first time since Mitsumi had gotten there, Cyrus looked at them."Administrators who were beaten time and again my mere children?" he said with a cold laugh, "My condolences. However, it is all for the making of a complete world. A world of complete perfection. Nothing so vague and incomplete as spirit will re
PMP 112: EncounterSudden footsteps could be heard coming up the stairs. Mitsumi turned: Handsome, one arm in a sling, approached, with Cynthia and Lukas hot on his heels."Team Galactic!" Cynthia's voice was sharper now than Mitsumi had ever heard it, "As the Pokémon Champion, I order you to stop this at once!""Stop?" said Cyrus. He still refused to face them, "Why should I stop, when the show has not even begun?"Cyrus raised his arms, a long, red item enclosed in each hand."Now that you are all here, sit back and relax," he continued, "Everything is ready for the creation of a new world. Now all will end, and everything will begin."Suddenly there came from below the sound of hundreds upon hundreds of bellsDotakun. The mountain shook with the force of their sound. Mitsumi stole a glance at her Pokétch: it was exactly noon. That's what he was waiting for
!"The sound of bells rings in the dawn of my new universe!" cried Cyrus, "With these Red Chains, made from the concentr
PMP 111: This is our path!"So be it!" said Mitsumi, "Empoleon, take this battle!""Infernape, show 'em how we roll!"Empoleon and Infernape burst from their Pokéballs. They looked at each other and nodded, setting aside their rivalry for this final fight. Mitsumi knew that Empoleon's water attacks would be worthless against Toxicroak, so she planned to aim for Medicham."Aqua jet!""Flamethrower!""Psych up!""Poison jab!"Empoleon attacked first, crashing into Medicham before hopping back to Mitsumi's side of the field. Next Infernape loosed a stream of flames, hitting Toxicroak hard because of its dry skin ability. Medicham used force palm on Empoleon; the fighting-type attack dealing twice the normal damage. Toxicroak aimed its attack at Infernape, but the fire monkey nimbly got out of the way."All right! Brine!""You've got this, Infernape! Flame wheel!""Toxicroak, switch targets! Poison jab!""Medicham, focus! Calm mind!"Infernape was the fastest of the bunch, so it wrapped itself in flames and sla
PMP 110: This moment, this secondAt last they emerged once more into the open. Ominous clouds were forming overhead as they surveyed the area. Before them were the ruins of a temple, its great columns worn by weather or knocked over by time. A pair of Galactic grunts stood guard. Jun and Mitsumi looked past them, but there wasn't much to see: a set of stairs led up and away. The grunts took notice."Children
?" said one, "No matter. If you've made it this far, it's no use trying to stop you now. Pass through at your own risk. You will bear witness to Team Galactic's new dominion!"The grunts stood aside, and the two trainers walked past them carefully. Up and up they went, careful that their shoes would make the least noise. As they ascended, the platform above slowly came into view. Mitsumi stopped just before the top."Mitsumi?" said Jun."Jun," whispered Mitsumi, "No matter what happens after this
I will never forget this moment, this second."Jun nodded. The two of them paused to imprint this moment on
PMP 109: Ascent"So Mitsumi, why exactly are we going to the top of this thing?"They walked together through the cave, keeping close to each other to avoid getting lost. It was dark and cold inside, and the chatter of Pokémon could be heard along with the gentle lull of water and the echo of their footsteps."Team Galactic is going to pull their big plan up there," said Mitsumi, "I'm sure of it.""Then what the heck are we waiting for?!" shouted Jun. He flailed in excitement and grabbed Mitsumi's wrist, "We've got to get there as soon as possible--!"Jun crashed into the wall ahead of him. He backed up and held his head while Mitsumi looked up. This section of wall was rockier than most, and there seemed to be a platform above them."I bet a Pokémon that knew rock climb could scale that
" said Mitsumi."On it!" said Jun, "Infernape, I choose you!"Jun sent out his Infernape, and it let out a screech and beat its chest. The flame on its head lit the area around them."Okay, buddy, Rock
PMP 108: -filler I guess lol-Mitsumi didn't have the heart to be distracted by the thrill of flying this time. The flight from Tobari to Hearthome was short, and Staraptor dropped her off at the Pokémon center before turning around and heading back home."Okay, if I run, I'll just wear out
" said Mitsumi, "But I bet I can get there fast with a pair of wheels!"Mitsumi let her Rotom out of its Pokéball and climbed into the back seat. Rotom grinned, pleased that it could carry Mitsumi in this way again."Let's hightail it, Rotom! To Mount Tengan!"Rotom nodded and zoomed off through the streets. Mitsumi gave it instructions on where to turn, working backwards from her last visit to Hearthome. As they drove, they passed a boy sitting on a bench and reading something. He jumped up as they zoomed past, and started running after them."Oi, Mitsumi! Is that you!?"Rotom screeched to a halt and turned around."Yeah, but I don't have time to talk!" said Mitsumi, "I've got to get to the top of Mount Tengan!"
