Wowie it feels really good to get something polished done after.... not doing art for a while

I am!! really excited for this game!!!!
Like with BW and BW2 I've already got some character ideas going pretty early out.... I think I'm gonna make Serena a wannabe indie singer/songwriter, so the idea of her sitting on a stump and strummin' for some Pokemon has been a long time coming. I listened to a lot of acoustic guitar songs while drawing ahaha. Also you can probably tell which two starters *I'll* be choosing

my advice to u: do not draw instruments. do not draw people holding instruments

artwise, I wanted a sort of artbook? feel i guess? so I used some brushes I'd never really done anything with before. in the end i liked the result but i'm not sure how eager i am to use those brushes again.

Wasn't sure I liked the filter or not, so the unfiltered version is on tumblr with some detail shots.
